Ganta and Shiro have a final battle and Deadman Wonderland is destroyed completely. The final chapter takes place a few weeks or months after the battle. We see that the infiltration team has moved on with their lives and are reintegrating into free society. We lastly see Ganta visiting Shiro in the hospital, as she is in a coma.

Did Shiro already wake up from her coma? Does Ganta know Shiro is not in a coma anymore? What is exactly meant by finishing the song, living together or loving eachother?
